Mudzimu ne Mbereko

A short reflection on the language roots connecting home, ancestry, and stone — tracing back to Mapungubwe, the great stone-walled kingdom that came before Great Zimbabwe:

Mudzi — (mu) Imba (huru) Zimba (dzakawanda) Dzimba
Mapungu — (Chapungu) Shiri (bwe) Ibwe igwe (Mambo)

Saka Zimbabwe rinobva kuna Mapungubwe.

Mudzimu, Musha, Mumba, Zimba, bwe Igwe.
